FAQs

Flight compensation is money you are entitled to claim back from an airline if you experience a delayed flight, cancellation or denied boarding. The compensation is not a refund of your ticket but instead a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience you have suffered. If your flight was cancelled or you were unable to board your flight, you could be entitled to cash compensation as well as a full refund of your ticket.
  • My flight was delayed over 3 hours
  • My flight was cancelled, and I arrived at my final destination over 3 hours late
  • My delayed flight happened within the last 6 years
  • My flight was leaving an EU country and/or travelling with an EU airline
The compensation amount you are entitled to depends on the length of your journey and the amount of time you were delayed for. Please see below for examples:
The distance of the flight How long the delay lasted How much you could claim
Less than 1,500 km 3 hours or more €250 (£220)
1,500 km to 3,500 km 3 hours or more €400 (£360)
Over 3,500 km 3 hours or more AND flying between two EU countries €400 (£360)
Over 3,500 km Between 3 and 4 hours €300 (£260)
Over 3,500 km More than 4 hours €600 (£540)

We can also claim back any additional expenses you incurred due to the flight disruption;

Making a claim with Flight Reclaim couldn’t be easier.

Here at Flight Reclaim Ltd, we offer a hassle and risk free, NO-WIN NO-FEE service. Our flight delay compensation process couldn’t be simpler. We are one of the cheapest companies within this industry charging 25% (one off £25 admin fee) + VAT.

As we offer a NO-WIN NO-FEE service, our fee’s will only be deducted in the event of your claim being successful.

Should we need to take your claim through alternative routes, there will be no extra costs to you. We will cover all additional costs.

If the airline attempts to contact once you have instructed Flight Reclaim to act on your behalf, you must notify us as the airline can try to offer lower amounts to what you are entitled to and may offer travel vouchers as opposed to cash compensation.

Airlines try their hardest to prevent paying compensation and can often tell passengers they are not entitled to compensation. That being said, we are here to fight for your right to compensation and would recommend coming through us to get a second opinion.

If the airline hasn’t responded to your request following 28 days, it is very unlikely they will respond at all. If you are in doubt, have a chat with one of our Aviation Specialists to see if there is anything further we can do to assist you.

Thanks to Flight Reclaim! Helped me and my mates get money from Jet2. Could have done it ourselves but really who has time for that?! Fast and helpful and only charged one set of admin fees, and not per person like the other companies seem to charge. Thanks again, would deffo recommend this company
